Made at Hasegawa, one of Japan's premier cutlery factories - Seki, Gifu Prefecture, Japan known for making bladed hand tools since the early 1930's. The tassle is carefully handmade by Imasato, a specialist in tassels and knots founded in 1907 and located in Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture.
