A reproduction of an unusal French sampler (as it was stitch by a boy) named Laurence Victorine Briquet who was born on March 1, 1894 in Luché-Pringé, a town in Sarthe, near La Flêche. Laurence certainly embroidered his sampler around 1906, when he was 12 years old.
